There comes a moment in every practitioner’s path when intuition is no longer enough. You can feel. You can hold space. You can move energy. But something inside you knows your work is evolving.
Something deeper.
The Sacred Alchemist Workshop: The Alchemy of Herbs is a two-day, hands-on immersion for healers who are ready to integrate their intuition with structure, materials, and embodied process. Instead of simply adding more modalities, you are about understanding how healing becomes craft.
Healers restore. They bring relief through touch, warmth, prayer, breath, and presence. Alchemy does not replace healing — it refines it. Where healing often focuses on restoring balance in the moment, herbal alchemy asks a different question:
How is transformation prepared? How are plants chosen? How are oils infused? How does intention move from idea into matter? How does the nervous system stabilize change over time?
Herbal alchemy works with nourishment and release. With regulation and integration. With shadow and light; without bypassing either. It honors that real change happens slowly. Through preparation. Through ethics. Through relationship with the body. This is the shift from healing as a role…
to alchemy as a way of practice.
Alchemy shows up in the how. In the way materials are selected and prepared. In the way herbs are applied...physically, emotionally, spiritually. In how the body is supported before, during, and after transformation. This goes beyond surface alignment or “love and light.”
Sacred Alchemists understand that integration is as important as activation. That the body must participate. That medicine is crafted...not rushed. In this workshop, herbs become the medium for that understanding. Through guided formulation, ritual preparation, embodied practice, and ethical discernment, you will begin to experience what it means to work with plant allies in a structured, grounded way.

Rather than memorizing herbs or copying formulas, we use the Vortex Somatic Compass™ framework to understand how and when to apply plant support within client work.
The five directions offer a practical structure for assessing what the body actually needs in the moment. Each direction helps you determine whether to stimulate or stabilize, when to support elimination versus restoration, how to pace activation safely, and how to integrate change without overwhelming the nervous system.
Through guided preparation and applied practice, you will learn how to select and prepare herbs with clear reasoning; supporting regulation, rhythm, and sustainable outcomes without forcing or bypassing the body’s process.
You’ll engage in:
➳ Crafting herbal oils and traditional plant-based waters
➳ Learning foundational preparation methods using essential tools
➳ Participating in guided, body-based ritual practice
➳ Understanding ethical space-holding and professional boundaries
➳ Applying the Vortex Somatic Compass™ as a decision-making framework
➳ Building the foundations of structured, intentional ritual design

Janet is a Master Herbalist, herbal formulator, and Holistic Esthetician who has been making medicine with plant allies for years, helping clients find relief from a variety of health challenges, including within the spinal cord injury community through targeted herbal formulas.
She has now bridged her herbalism into skincare, creating a full circle practice that supports the body, mind, and spirit. Her work is rooted in the understanding that herbs meet us on multiple levels physically through the skin, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually offering care that goes far beyond surface-level treatments.
As a practitioner and guide, Janet combines traditional herbalism with intuitive skin care practices, exploring how the body is often drawn to the plants it needs most. In this workshop, she will share the synergistic relationship between herbs and human healing, and participants will create a botanical product designed to support the skin, harness herbal wisdom, and uplift mood through aromatherapy and ritual.
